A
Shot From Ma Gun
The single was recorded at
the Levellers studio, Metway in Brighton, produced by Al Scott and released
on Eldamar Records
The group plan to release two
further singles from the Metway sessions later this year.
The recording sessions were
funded by Oxford based film company Chimera. The third single is to
be the title track of a film currently in pre-production.
The single contains:
1. A Shot From Ma Gun
2. Melancholy Mood
3. Alpha to Omega
"...final track
Alpha to Omega is Luma Chroma at their best - teasing and using their
muso skills to unselfish effect."

"Barges in, subtle
as a lump hammer in a china shop... ....with a bit of new wave attitude
and a muscle-bound bassline that might feasibly have been borrowed from
The Jam. ÔA Shot From Ma GunÕ has hints of The Who about it with a clipped
funk edge. Rather good in its bolshy way, almost verging on metal in
its angrier moments while the doubled-up vocals remind us a wee bit
of Love & Rockets... ...they canÕt resist bashing it all about a bit
like on ÔAlpha To OmegaÕ. Basically the only band this month that you
could possibly imagine turning up on Top of the Pops in anything like
the near future. So worth keeping an eye on."
